| Product Description:
The ADP Import utility module is designed to read an ADP ASCII generated payroll file and automatically create a journal entry batch "on hold" in the Microsoft Dynamics SL General Ledger. The user locates the ADP payroll file, defines a General Ledger period to post for the transaction, and assigns a transaction date for the journal entry. From here, clicking on the ADP import push button begins the import process. Feature/Benefits: * Reads ADP ASCII generated payroll files to create a journal entry batch in the SL General Ledger * Locates the ADP payroll file using a standard browse button * Maintains a user definable set-up screen which maps information from the ADP system to the applicable SL fields * Ability to report headcount information to track information related to the number of employees on staff * Set up is a one-time function for both end user and consultant * Calculates the payroll accrual journal entry for companies that process payroll every two weeks, which can then be automatically reversed through the SL closing process * Customization Manager enabled * Includes on-line help for easy implementations * Ability to automatically import into SL a reversing Accrual Payroll GL entry based on a percentage of totals from the import file * Requires GL Interface Report to run utility.
