Hi, I hope someone can help me...

I've just upgraded a user from Solomon to Dynamics on her PC. She can remote into the server and login fine.

However, when we try to connect using the desktop there are multiple errors.

1) Cannot Connect to <servername>
(Cannot open user default database. Login failed)
-- I cannot get it to connect to the old database or the new database or with an IP address.

After I click OK this pops up.
2) System Error Message
unable to open specified database <servername database> (229)

Incidentally I've also upgraded SQL Server to SQL2005
and she can successfully connect to the same server that way.

Thank you!!!

Yes, I upgraded the users client to the Dynamics 7.0 ver. (I also uninstalled the old version before installing the new ver. as required.)

I also removed the solomon.ini file yesterday and reinstalled the service pack S70_SP1GA.

We have the solomon directory shared on a server and have our clients connecting to the server with a mapped drive.

Thanks!
Connie
