GP password error

Hey,
       We are using GP 9.0. and sql server 2005.
When some users are trying to enter GP(enforce password policy enabled) and try to change the password at login, they get the error as :-
 
The password change failed for a unknown reason. Enter a differnet password or contact your system administrator.

Check your Domain policy, if the minimum password age is greater than 0, you will have to wait the number of days specified.  To allow changes anytime, set it to 0.

The minimum password age is set up to 1 day.

I waited for more than 1 day

but that error still persists

This issue occurs because you are not using an Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) connection. You must set up the ODBC connection by using the SQL Native Client driver for Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
