Workflow mails stuck in Pending Send

   Hello , our company has recently aquired crm2011. we have been trying to figure out where this problem originates from we use the outlook crm client and whenever we are trying to send the workflow emails to the ppl it wont send . the mails will not go through . 
is there some kind of log i can read to see exactly what happens??
