Yes, you have to install CRM Rollup Update 12

Yes. It works on chrome and firefox and even on IE. This additional functions are got from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Update Rollup 12 or the December 2012 Service Update. Internet Explorer 7 is not supported for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. Windows XP users must use Internet Explorer 8 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.
